Istanbul

One of the few cities to stand on two continents Istanbul straddles Europe and Asia across the ancient waterways of the Bosphorus Strait. Due to its geographical importance, the city has been the crown jewel for many empires throughout millennia, and today still reflects a plethora of cultural influences. The Roman Hippodrome, Egyptian obelisks, jaw-droppingly beautiful Byzantine Hagia Sofia, and the vast Blue Mosque are just a few of ‘must see’s whilst the food, warm climate, and friendly welcome make it one of the world’s most popular cities to visit.
