Before arriving in magical Venice, take a picturesque train along the Brenner Pass through the Alps.

Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 - AMSTERDAM 
Welcome to Amsterdam! Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a two-night stay and then start exploring Europe’s most diverse destination. Check out some of the city’s world-class art museums, like the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, or the Stedelijk, and stroll along the picturesque canals lined by trees and unique houseboats. (Overnight in Amsterdam)

DAY 2 - AMSTERDAM
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before spending a second day exploring this cosmopolitan city. Use your included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour and canal boat ride and then continue getting to know the city on your own. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 3 - AMSTERDAM TO COLOGNE
Take a direct high-speed train from Amsterdam to Cologne. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a two-night stay. Visit Cologne's Chocolate Museum for a tasting, relax in a traditional bar and sample the local specialty beer, or head up to the top of the Cologne Cathedral for fabulous views over the city! Why not spend the afternoon strolling through the narrow, cobbled streets of the old town? (Overnight in Cologne) B

DAY 4 - COLOGNE
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before spending a second day discovering all Cologne has to offer with the convenience of your Hop-On-Hop-Off Pass.  You also have the opportunity to see the city from the river Rhine with a one-hour river cruise included.  Visit the wonderful museums such as the Fragrance Museum or marvel at one of the twelve great Romanesque churches in the inner city. Watch the world go by from a café, shop ‘til you drop along Cologne's pedestrianized Schildergasse, or visit Cologne's Town Hall which is one of Germany's oldest town halls, dating back almost 900 years. DAY 5 – RHINE VALLEY TO MUNICH
Take a relaxing train ride through the gorgeous Rhine Valley to Mannheim. The Rhine Valley features picturesque forested hillsides, terraced vineyards, and idyllic villages. Then, change onto a high-speed ICE train to Munich, Germany. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Munich) B

DAY 6 - MUNICH
Spend some time today visiting any attractions you didn’t get a chance to see already, all from the comfort of an open top bus.  Enjoy a visit to one of the most beautiful city parks in the world, Englischer Garten. Named for the informal English style of rolling hills and open landscaping, Englischer Garten stretches from Munich’s city center to the northeastern city limits and is filled with popular biergartens and eclectic monuments. DAY 7 – BRENNER PASS TO VENICE
Take a picturesque direct train from Munich to Venice along the Brenner Pass! This scenic journey through the Alps is certainly one to remember. Be sure to have your camera ready. Upon arrival in Venice, check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Stretched across 117 islands within the Venetian Lagoon, there is no doubt Venice is a unique city. Famed for its canals, its history and its ethereal beauty, the city continues to enchant visitors from all over the world, as it has done for centuries. (Overnight in Venice) B

DAY 8 – VENICEEnjoy your included small group tour of Sant Mark’s Basilica and Doges Palace. Then, make sure you spend some time out on the canals. Venice Lido has some great sandy beaches and the islands of Murano and Burano are beautifully maintained fishing villages where you can watch the famous Venetian glassblowers in action. DAY 9 – YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN VENICE

Ai Mori D Oriente
