DAY 1 -BRUGES
On arrival in Bruges, check in at the Martins Bruges for a three night stay. Known as the "Venice of the North", Bruges is a medieval masterpiece of a city packed with winding canals and cobbled streets. Beautifully preserved houses, the famous Belfry and museums such as the Groeninge Museum give it a film set feel. (Overnight in Bruges)

DAY 2 - BRUGES
For a glorious view over the roofs of the city, a climb up the 83 metre high Belfort Tower, which rises from the Markt Square, is highly recommended despite the 366 steps! (Overnight in Bruges) B

DAY 3 - BRUGES
Why not go on a brewery tour and sample some of the delicious local beers? Indulge in Moules Frites at a pavement cafe and shop for tempting Belgian chocolates. For a romantic view of the city, why not take a horse and carriage ride from the Markt Square. (Overnight in Bruges) B

DAY 4 - BRUGES TO AMSTERDAM
Spend the morning in Bruges before taking the train to Antwerp and then changing onto a service to Amsterdam. On arrival, check in at the NH Museum Quarter for a three night stay. Spend the next two days at leisure, exploring this lively cosmopolitan city. Wander along the pretty canals or visit one of many museums on offer including the famous Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 5 - AMSTERDAM
Hiring a bike is a great way to get around Amsterdam. There are dedicated bike paths throughout the city and bikes are available to hire from around 8 euro per day. (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 6 - AMSTERDAM
Amsterdam is blessed with over ten thousand shops so why not treat yourself to a spot of retail therapy! If you are a keen gardener don't forget to stock up on your tulip bulbs, and a visit to the Singel Flower Market is a must! (Overnight in Amsterdam) B

DAY 7 - DEPART AMSTERDAM
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel and then check out of the hotel for your onward journey. B
