Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN BRUGES
Travel by Eurostar from London to Brussels, where you transfer onto the local train to Bruges. On arrival, check in at the Martins Bruges for a three-night stay. Spend three days exploring the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage listed centre of Bruges, either on foot through the medieval cobbled streets, or by boat along the pretty canals. (Overnight in Bruges)

DAY 2 - BRUGES
Get your bearings of this beautiful city thanks to a 50min city tour, then head for the glorious Markt Square that lies in the heart of the city and perhaps enjoy a tasty Moules-Frites at one of the restaurants that surrounds the square Maybe pay a visit to the impressive Church of Our Lady, home to the tombs of Charles the Bold and Mary of Burgundy, and 16th century Flemish paintings. DAY 3 – BRUGE TO BRUSSELS
After breakfast, take the train from Bruges to Brussels (journey time is just under an hour). On arrival, check in at the Hotel NH Brussels City Centre for a two-night stay. Once settled into the hotel, why not spend the afternoon relaxing in one of the cafés in the Grand Sablon, or perhaps visit the monumental Grand Place and its many museums, including the famous Matisse Museum. DAY 4 - BRUSSELS
Enjoy breakfast this morning before exploring the whole city thanks to your included Hop-On-Hop-Off Pass and then perhaps head out to do some shopping along the world's first shopping arcade, the Galeries Saint Hubert or Maybe discover the history of Belgian royalty at the Palais du Roi. (Overnight in Brussels) B

DAY 5 - BRUSSELS
Spend a final day in Brussels, perhaps exploring the Atomium, Brussels’ Eiffel Tower, which affords amazing views, inside and out. Architecture fans should consider visiting Musee Horta, home of Belgian master architect Victor Horta. In the evening, enjoy a final dinner at one of the many seafood eateries that abound in Ste. Catherine.

DAY 6 – DEPART BRUSSELS
Enjoy a final breakfast in the hotel before continuing your travels. If you wish to extend your vacation, perhaps with an additional day in either city, or with another destination in Europe, one of our Rail Consultants would be happy to assist you. B

Floris Arlequin Grand Place Brussels

Situated just 200 yards from the magnificent Grand Place, the Floris Hotel Arlequin is the perfect base for sightseeing in Brussels. Martin's Brugge

Set in the heart of the historic UNESCO listed centre of Bruges, Martin's Bruges Hotel is situated behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and is only a short walk from the beautiful and historic Grote Markt. The hotel benefits from a lush terrace and trendy cocktail bar, which overlooks the historic city. Rooms come fully air-conditioned and are equipped with a minibar and free Wi-Fi. Popular tourist attractions nearby include the Arentshuis Museum and the brewery “De Halve Mann”.

NH Brussels Louise
