Trip Overview

A once-in-a-lifetime trip awaits on a journey through the majestic Canadian Rockies! Start in Vancouver where you will explore the city known as the “Hollywood of the North” by way of a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour as well as admission to the Vancouver Lookout tower. You will also get to enjoy a full day at the lush rainforest that makes up the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Following your time in Vancouver you will journey east on the VIA Rail system to Jasper National Park! While in Jasper you will experience several sightseeing opportunities including tours of the Icefields Parkway, a visit to the Glacier Discovery Center, and a journey up on the Jasper Skytram. From Jasper you will continue east as you ride VIA Rail across Canada towards Toronto. Upon arriving in Toronto you will sightsee all around the famous eastern Canadian city. You will get up close and personal to you the Canadian Rockies on this 11-day journey!

DAY 1               YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN VANCOUVER
Welcome to Canada!  Travel to your centrally located hotel and start exploring the city.

DAY 2               VANCOUVER
Today’s full day of sightseeing will start with a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour that takes you to Vancouver’s most popular areas:  Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island and more!  The tour will feature live commentary, so you’ll have the opportunity to learn what makes this spectacular city so special.  Take some time this afternoon to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, one of the most popular tourist attractions in British Columbia.  The bridge crosses over towering evergreens with views more than 100 feet above the forest floor. Continue exploring Vancouver today with admission to the Vancouver Lookout! (Overnight in Vancouver)

DAY 3               OVERNIGHT ONBOARD VIA RAIL
Travel to the VIA Rail station and board The Canadian Train eastbound to Jasper. (Overnight onboard VIA Rail)

DAY 4               JASPER
Enjoy a relaxing day on the train.  The scenery will be breathtaking as you enter the Canadian Rockies Region of Alberta, Canada.  Later, arrive into Jasper and travel to your hotel. Once settled, get to know the town on your own. (Overnight in Jasper).

DAY 5              JASPER
Are you ready to explore the most beautiful place in Canada? Today on your Jasper sightseeing tour you’ll get to do just that! There are few places in the world more stunning and magical as Jasper. Your tour highlights will most certainly be the Jasper townsite, Athabasca Viewpoint, Medicine Lake, Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake with an optional cruise included. (Overnight in Jasper) L

DAY 6              JASPER
Tour the famous Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.  View scenic rocky mountain vistas and local wildlife along the way, with photo stops at Athabasca Falls and Stutfield Glacier. Step onboard an ice explorer for an interpretive adventure onto the Athabasca Glacier.  At the Glacier Skywalk, enjoy the unobstructed view on a glass-floored observation platform out over the Sunwapta Valley.  Highlights of this tour include:  Icefields Parkway, Athabasca Falls, Stutfield Glacier, Columbia Icefield, Admission to Glacier Adventure and Glacier Skywalk, a hot buffet lunch at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre and time to explore the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.  Return to Jasper and relax for the evening. DAY 7              OVERNIGHT ONBOARD VIA RAIL
Use your included admission to the Jasper Skytram before boarding VIA once more for a journey across Canada to Toronto. During your seven-minute flight aboard the Jasper Skytram, you’ll get a whole new perspective on the Canadian Rockies.  Following the exciting attraction, pick up your luggage at your hotel and travel to the VIA Rail station to board The Canadian and continue your trip eastbound across the country. DAYS 8-9         OVERNIGHT ONBOARD VIA RAIL
Continue your journey across Canada on VIA Rail.  (Overnight onboard VIA Rail)

DAY 10            TORONTO
This morning, arrive in Toronto!  Today there is a full day of sightseeing ahead of you.  Your hop-on/hop-off bus tour will feature top Toronto sights such as the Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto Harbourfront, Eaton Centre and Chinatown, among others.  Admission to the CN Tower, with sweeping views of Toronto, is also included today. DAY 11             TORONTO > NIAGARA FALLS > TORONTO
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a full day tour to one of the wonders of the natural world, Niagara Falls.  Highlights will include a meal overlooking the falls, a boat ride getting you up close and personal with the Falls, free time in both Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake and a winery tour and tasting.  After your full day of touring, your bus will drop you back off at your hotel for a relaxing evening.
