After exploring Anchorage, board the Alaska Railroad for a trip to Seward where you’ll cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park and see wildlife, mountains and glaciers. Continue the journey north to the quaint town of Talkeetna and then to Denali National Park, the crown jewel of Alaska. From there, continue your journey north to Fairbanks.

DAY 1 YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN ANCHORAGE
Welcome to Anchorage! Check into your hotel and drop off your luggage so you can begin exploring. (Overnight in Anchorage)

DAY 2 ANCHORAGE
Today, enjoy a guided 15-mile scenic tour through Anchorage and learn about its history and the culture. (Overnight in Anchorage)

DAY 3 SEWARD
Board the Alaska Railroad for your trip from Anchorage to Seward. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure exploring this port town where many cruise ships embark. (Overnight in Seward)

DAY 4 KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK
Today, enjoy a cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park and witness the beauty of the mountains, glaciers and wildlife. This evening, travel by train back to Anchorage for the night. (Overnight in Anchorage)

DAY 5 TALKEETNA
Today, enjoy a scenic ride on Alaska Railroad as you travel to Talkeetna. This small charming town is known as the gateway to Denali. (Overnight in Talkeetna)

DAY 6 DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Today, enjoy a scenic ride on Alaska Railroad as you travel to Denali. (Overnight in Denali)

DAY 7 DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Denali, the Crown Jewel of national parks, is a true wilderness and only has one road bisecting the park. On your full day tour you’ll adventure 92 miles on this road deep into the heart of Denali National Park. Stop at the Polychrome Overlook which is known for its gorgeous kaleidoscope of colors formed by volcanic rock. Be sure to look out for grizzlies, moose and caribou. (Overnight in Denali) L

DAY 8 FAIRBANKS
Your train to Fairbanks leaves late this afternoon so you can spend the day exploring downtown Denali or perhaps you want to take a short hike on one of the many trails.  (Overnight in Fairbanks)

DAY 9 FAIRBANKS
Enjoy the day exploring Fairbanks and learning about its history and how it became a boomtown once gold was discovered in the early 1900’s.  (Overnight in Fairbanks)
