DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN MUNICH
Welcome to Munich! On arrival in the Bavarian capital, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Head out and begin strolling through the picturesque streets to get your bearings. Of course, no visit to Munich is complete without a visit to a beer hall! The Hofbräuhaus am Platzl is undoubtedly the most famous of these, where you can sample some Weisswürste (white sausage) with your beer. (Overnight in Munich)

DAY 2 - MUNICH
Spend a full day in Munich, exploring the many famous sights and attractions of the Alpine city. Marvel at the architecture of the Marienplatz, visit the largest cathedral in the city, the Frauenkirche, and uncover the legend behind the Teufelstritt (Devil's Footstep). You might also like to take a tour of the renowned Deutsches Museum or relax in the beautiful Englischer Garten, one of the largest urban parks in the world. (Overnight in Munich) B

DAY 3 - MUNICH TO SALZBURG
Spend another morning in Munich before taking the train to Salzburg. Upon arrival in Salzburg, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Salzburg is your first taste of Austria, the mountains…The Sound of Music! Try the restaurants on the right side of the river around Linzergasse for a real taste of Salzburg. For an adventure into Austrian beer, head to the atmospheric Mullner Brewery - known officially as the Augustiner Braustubel. (Overnight in Salzburg) B

DAY 4 - SALZBURG
After breakfast at your hotel this morning, spend the day enjoying the sights of Salzburg. Head for the old town looking over the Salzach River, with its cobbled streets of little shops. Fans of composer Mozart can visit his birthplace, now a museum dedicated to his life and work showcasing various fascinating exhibits. The city's Baroque Old Town is UNESCO World Heritage listed and dominated by the massive Festung Hohensalzburg, one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. (Overnight in Salzburg) B

DAY 5 - SALZBURG TO INNSBRUCK
Today you will take a direct train from Salzburg to the beautiful city of Innsbruck, a scenic Alpine haven surrounded by mountains in the heart of the Tyrol. Enjoy wonderful views of the Austrian countryside along the way. On arrival in Innsbruck, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. (Overnight in Innsbruck) B

DAY 6 - INNSBRUCK
Spend the day at leisure today exploring stunning Innsbruck. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Innsbruck has gained a reputation as an impressive Austrian holiday destination due to its fantastic winter sporting events and impressive historical monuments. Visit the Hofkirche Innsbruck or the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), both popular landmarks dedicated to Maximilian I, before indulging in some local cuisine. (Overnight in Innsbruck). B

DAY 7 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN INNSBRUCK
Check out of your hotel today and continue with your journey.
