DAY 1 – Arrive in Berlin
A transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Once you have checked in, you will be collected at your hotel for a rickshaw tour that visits Brandenburg Gate, Government Quarter (Reichstag and the Chancellery), Spree, House of World Cultures, Sclossbellevue, Victory Column, Tiergarten, Holocaust Memorial, Postamerplatz, GDR Watchtower, Berlin Wall, House of Representatives, Chekpointcharlie, Friedrichstrasse, Gandermanmarkt, and many more incredible sights. After breakfast today you will go on a tasting adventure trying delicious German food and drinks whilst being guided around the city. Wear comfy shoes as this tour usually takes over three hours with lots of food stops along the way. (Overnight in Berlin) B, L

This morning, travel by train from Berlin to Prague. Sit back and enjoy the scenery. Once in Prague, you have time to check in and relax before being picked up for your evening dinner cruise on the Danube. (Overnight in Prague) B, D

After a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to wrap up as you will be collected from your hotel at 11 a.m. in a historical cabriolet for your two-hour sightseeing tour. The usual route is Prague Castle, Lesser Town, Old Town, Jewish Town and New Town. Heating blankets and furs are provided during the winter to keep warm. After your tour, you have time to go to one of the many fine restaurants for dinner on your own. (Overnight in Prague) B

Next stop is Austria and its capital of Vienna, which is characterized by its abundance of baroque buildings. Full of museums and galleries, you will never be stuck for things to do in your spare time. This afternoon is free to explore before your evening at Schönbrunn Palace, the former Imperial summer residence. Schönbrunn Palace is one of Vienna's most popular attractions set in beautifully tended formal gardens. It features the Gloriette monument, Palm House, and a zoo. Tonight, you will enjoy dinner and a concert in these fine surroundings. (Overnight in Vienna) B, D

Today, enjoy aerial views of the city of Vienna and its surroundings on a 40-minute scenic helicopter flight from Stockerau. A transfer is included to and from the airport. With guaranteed window seats, the flight features informative commentary from your pilot as you fly over the city of Vienna. Then, head over the Danube, Greifenstein, and the monastery of Klosterneuburg. You'll cross the border of Vienna where you’ll get a birds-eye-view of the entire city. You’ll also fly over Vienna's famous "Prater," with its most prominent "Riesenrad" and typical red wagons. On your way back, you will pass Donauturm. Finally, fly past the Caslte Kreuzenstein and one of the biggest wetlands of Europe, the Donau Auen. (Overnight in Vienna) B

This morning, visit Vienna’s storied Spanish Riding School, established in the 16th century. It’s the world’s oldest haute école of classical equitation. Experience the Renaissance tradition of classical dressage—on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list—by witnessing the Viennese institution’s morning exercises. The graceful snow-white Lipizzan horses practice intricate figures and jumps accompanied by classical music, with riders dressed in their historic empire-style uniforms and bicorn hats. Today is your final rail journey. Watch the ever-changing landscape from Austria on your way to Budapest, Hungary’s capital, which is bisected by the Danube. Its 19th-century chain bridge connects the hilly Buda Castle District. Tonight, enjoy a river cruise with drinks and enjoy the spectacular views. (Overnight in Budapest) B

When visiting Budapest, a must-see area is the magnificent Buda Castle District. This tour saves you hours of research time, as a guide will take you on a walking tour of Budapest while educating you about its history and hidden treasures. You won’t have to worry about bringing food and drinks with you as snacks and light refreshments are included. Meet at 2 p.m. at the bottom of the funicular that runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town. After the tour, why not check out the Budapest History Museum, which traces city life from Roman times onward? Trinity Square is home to the 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views across Budapest. (Overnight in Budapest) B

Discover the countryside of Hungary, only a 30-minute drive from Budapest. On this tour, you will have a chance to visit local wine cellars, vineyards, and meet the local wine makers. You will also visit three family-run wineries and taste some local fresh and fragrant wines. Sample all their varieties and learn about the production and flavours. Wine tastings and cheese with private air-conditioned transport and pickup and drop-off at your hotel is included. Please note this tour does not run on Sundays (Overnight in Budapest) B
