Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 – Arrive in Madrid
On arrival, make your way to your hotel for a one-night stay in the Spanish capital. Pop over to the Prado Museum to see one of the finest collections of art in the world or wander over to see the impressive Royal Palace. In the evening, head toward Plaza Mayor for your pick of fantastic restaurants. (Overnight in Madrid) 

After breakfast make your way to the gorgeous Atocha station for your high-speed Ave service to Seville. On arrival, head to your hotel and check-in for a two-night stay. This evening, you will see the lights of Seville on a small group tour, then watch an authentic Flamenco show with some traditional tapas. (Overnight in Seville) B 

Learn the vast history of this beautiful city with a small group tour today, including the huge Seville Cathedral, Giralda, and the vast Alcazar Palace. Christopher Columbus’s tomb is a must, as is the Royal Tobacco Factory which was the inspiration for the opera Carmen. Stop off at the Plaza de Espana whilst the Metropol Parasol is one of the most unique structures in any city worldwide. (Overnight in Seville) B

The train journey from Seville to Cordoba is just under one hour, and once you have arrived, head to your hotel and check-in for a two-night stay. Take a stroll through the ancient city’s streets and head to the Roman bridge across the Guafalquivir river, originally dating back to the 1st Century BC. Finally, head to the Plaza de la Corredera and relax with a cool drink and tapas. (Overnight in Cordoba) B

Discover the jewels of Cordoba today with a small group walking tour, including entrance to the Alcazar Palace, ancient Synagogue, and the breath-taking Mezquita. In the afternoon, perhaps unwind at the historic Hammam Al Andalus for some traditional but luxurious treatment, then do some souvenir shopping for handmade leather goods or silver that the city is famed for. (Overnight in Cordoba) B

Check out of your hotel and head to the station for your train to Granada. On arrival, head straight to the Alhambra Palace, where you will be spending two nights in the Parador de Granada, which is inside the Alhambra complex itself. This exclusive hotel is housed in a former monastery built on the orders of the Catholic Monarchs on the site of a Nasrid palace, the remains of which have also been preserved. The building is certainly worth exploring, and you can even enjoy lunch on the cool summer terrace. Take a walk into town in the afternoon to marvel at the gorgeous Cathedral, then if you are feeling energetic, take a walk over to the Albayzin neighbourhood and wander the ancient winding streets where Flamenco originated. Head up to the Mirador de San Cristobal or the Mirador San Nicolas for one of the best views in the city. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own. (Overnight in Granada) B

Enjoy one of the world’s greatest historical sites with a private tour of the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens.
