Travel on the high-speed train from Budapest to Vienna and on arrival in Vienna, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay and set out to explore the city. Use your 2-day Vienna Pass, giving you access to over 60 top attractions for free, allowing you to create your own sightseeing adventure. (Overnight in Vienna)

After breakfast this morning, spend the day exploring more of beautiful Vienna using your Vienna Pass. Much of Viennese cultural life can be found in the Museumsquartier, home to an array of museums, cafes and restaurants within a former imperial stable building. Why not enjoy an operatic experience to remember at the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), or view the works of famous painters such as Rubens and Raphael at the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts). Take in a performance at the Spanish Riding School - one of the oldest riding schools in the world and home to the famous Lipizzaner horses. Vienna also sits on the banks of the Danube, the perfect spot for a scenic boat cruise! And if you are interested in history, follow in the footsteps of the Habsburgs with a visit to the baroque Belvedere and Schönbrunn Palaces. (Overnight in Vienna) B

Enjoy the morning at leisure in Vienna, then continue your journey on the high-speed route to Prague. On arrival, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay and set out to explore the city using your Prague public transport ticket. Prague is known as the ‘City of a Hundred Spires' due to its steeple-woven skyline, and from a vantage point along the river or looking down from the St. Vitus Cathedral, you'll be able to see why. Indulge in some fantastic Czech cuisine this evening, and be sure to try a local beer - many say they are the finest in the world. (Overnight in Prague) B

After a good night's rest and breakfast in your hotel, enjoy a full day sightseeing in this attractive medieval city. Take a walk along Prague's centrepiece, the 14th century Charles Bridge and admire the stunning views of Prague Castle towering above the city and the Vltava River. Whilst riverside, perhaps visit the Mala Strana (the Little Quarter), home to the Baroque church of St Nicholas and the Renaissance gardens. Why not go off the tourist trail to explore the narrow cobbled streets that surround the Old Town Square and discover hidden courtyards, medieval chapels and delightful cafes. Take a stroll around the Astronomical Clock in the centre of the Old Town - it is 600 years old and quite a phenomenal sight. (Overnight in Prague) B

Upon arrival in Berlin, make your way to your hotel, and check in for a two-night stay. The rest of the day is yours to explore the German capital with your Berlin Pass. An icon of history, the Brandenburg Gate is a great place to start any adventure in Berlin, and is perhaps the most famous of the city's landmarks. (Overnight in Berlin) B

After a leisurely breakfast in your hotel this morning, set out to explore more of the city. Wandering through Berlin feels like getting lost inside a history textbook, with landmarks of huge significance embroidering the corners and squares. Admire the picture-perfect views over the city from the top of the Reichstag building; learn about the history of the Berlin Wall amidst the colourful fragments of the East Side Gallery, or discover endless artefacts at the famous museums on Museum Island. (Overnight in Berlin) B

After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and continue with your onward travels. If you wish to extend this holiday, perhaps with an additional day in a different city, one of our Rail Specialists would be happy to help you with all the details. B
