Your rail holiday begins in London, where you’ll board the Eurostar to Paris. Switch onto a high-speed train and zip through France towards Switzerland in just over three hours, all the while taking in the beautiful lake and mountain scenes from your window. Once you arrive in the French-Swiss town of Lausanne, check into your hotel. Then, begin exploring. Located in the canton of Vaud, Lausanne is built on three hills and surrounded by vineyard-covered slopes. Narrow cobblestone alleyways dotted with cafés and boutiques and lovely hidden courtyards shape the streetscape. You’ll have breakfast then journey to the top of Mount Pilatus via an unforgettable gondola and cable car ride. Once at the top, you'll find the historic Pilatus Kulm Hotel and restaurant where you can dine or enjoy refreshments. There are countless walking trails to explore the area, but beware of the legendary dragon who has magical healing powers and lives in the mountain. Romantik Wilden Mann Luzern
